It's Been Awhile

It's has been sometime since I updated.  Christmas has came and gone. I am glad that it over. It rained, snowed and iced last Christmas. God is good.

Alot of things has happened:

1 The Corps Building is going to renovated soon and I mean real soon.

2. We found a location for our new Thrift Store and yesterday a Advisory Board we voted on that proposal and it passed.

3.We are talking 5 kids to Youth Councils in April and 2 Corps Cadets are graduating with adding 2 more

Corps Cadets in the fall.

Once I figure out how upload pictures  to my site I will add pics of the Corps Building before it is fixed up and of the Thrift Store.

Also I will post pics from Youth Councils.

Last night one of the soldiers of the Chickasha corps  lost their brother. He was sick for sometime and  he died at the hospital.

I will be doing my 1st funeral this monday afternoon. They are taking it hard.

I will write more later.

  It's That Time Again!!!!

It's Kettle Season in Chickahsa,OKLA.  We started  Kettles today with 5 locations. All of my weekends  and maybe yours will be gone until December 24th.  I love this time of the year even through it is a very tiring time too.  Last night we had our Corps  Thanksgiving Dinner and we did it differently  by inviting the local  Homeless Shelter. I was thinking that we would have about 30-40 people. Well we had close to 70 people here  last night.  I had a great time fellowshipping with everyone. We started with a Praise Service and we had dinner afterwards.  We put up in the chapel  two  prayer walls on is Prayer Requests and the othe What are you thankful for?  We had  the corps members and the people from the Homeless Shelter  sign the Prayer Walls. I watched a movie last night called FlyWheel the film was made by the same people who did Second Chance and Facing The Giants.  It was a great movie and I recommend you see this film, One of these days I will use a clip of this movie during Sunday Service.  I hope that you are having a great day and God bless you.

Blessings!

Sunny Days Are Here Again,

God is sooo good. God moved again for the Chickasha corps. I had a meeting yesterday at the bank where our trust is held.  We have been praying for the Corps building  to get completely renovated and to but new chairs, tables,  and sound system  for the corps. We have been out of debt for sometime here in Chickasha but our building needs for care. God moved we are getting $100.000.00 to fix our building and  we will have money left over to buy new furinture, tables, chairs, sound system and a new copier machine. Once they told me I started to praise the Lord!!! He made it happen. He heard our prayers! We will be receiving the money immediately!

I am going to tell the corps people on Sunday. I have to be quiet until then. They have been through alot and Sunday they are going to be amazed because of God faithfulness. God still got alot of work for us to do here in Chickasha with Christmas coming and all that goes during this time of the year. As soon as I learn how to post pictures on here I am going to post before pictures of the building and after pictures of the building when iti is done. We are planning an open house for the public when the building is finished.

Have a blessed day in the Lord,

Frankco

Thanksgiving and Ring Alinging  Season,

Can you feel that it is that time of the year again. Officer's Councils was great! Comm. Feeners was there and we got to ask him questions that pertained to the Army. On the last day of Officer's Councils we had  a Officer's Covente renewal service. It brought back memeories back to the day that I signed my Officer's Covenate. Things here is busy as usual with Corps review in 2 weeks and the yearly Corps audit takes place on the 22nd. We take Christmas Applications for Caddo county on the 15-16th and the following week we do Grady County. God is good because the Wal-Mats in our area is letting us ring everyday that we ring. We redid our Advisory Board we now have 8 members Praise God!!!! Things in the corps is good we have good and bad days like everyone else. I believe that God is not finish here in Chickasha.   I have to go because we have Acts 29 class tonight flowwed by Home League and Men's Club have a blessed day in the Lord!

  Sunday August 12, 2007

God is soooo good. We had our 1st Community Sunday at one of the local parks. What I was told earlier that this was the 1st time that the Chickasha Corps did this at a park.

We had 34 people there and Mr. Chris Johnson  helped us out with singing. After church we had lunch and fellowship in the picnic area of the park. We ended early bacause of the heat. It was supposed to get as  high as 104 degrees. This was a start for us and we will be planning a Community Outreach once a  year. God has blessed us with good weather, church, food and fellowship. I have been so busy with getting this project done that I have not updated. Comtinue to pray for the Chickasha corps we are at a crossroads. God has did his part and now it is up to the soldiers and members to step up to the plate and to do their part.

I will post pictures  of the event once I  figure out how to post them on xanga.  If anyoneknow how to do it please give me directions on how to post pictures.  Other than that I hope that everyone is doing well and being blessed.
